The press service of the Cherkasy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has reported the deterioration of health and emergency hospitalization of Metropolitan Theodosiy (Snigiryov) of Cherkasy and Kanev. This is stated in a message on the Telegram channel of the diocese.

“Due to deterioration of health, provoked by hypertensive crisis, at the urgent request of doctors, Metropolitan of Cherkassy and Kanev Theodosius was urgently hospitalized for inpatient treatment”, – stated in the message.

We shall remind you that earlier we reported that as a result of the latest search carried out by SBU officers, the bishop suffered a heart attack. According to the diocesan press service, the metropolitan was diagnosed with an acute hypertensive crisis.
