In Cherkassy, an “activist” vandalized the UOC Cathedral

In Cherkasy, an unknown “activist” vandalized the St. Michael’s Cathedral of the Cherkasy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The young man pasted the central doors of the cathedral church with blasphemous images. About it reports the regional website zmi.ck.ua.

“Thus, not indifferent attract the attention of citizens and parishioners to the Russian trail in the churches of the Moscow patriarchate. Activists believe that the largest cathedral in the city should make the transition to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

Note, earlier we reported that the decision of the Cherkassy city Council, Cherkassy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was deprived of the land plot under the St. Michael’s Cathedral of Cherkassy. It is about a land plot of 8.7 hectares of the so-called “Soborny” park, where the cathedral is located.
