The head of the international human rights company Amsterdam & Partners LLP, Robert Amsterdam, who represents the legal interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, has commented on Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement in which the Ukrainian president said that unity was needed to win the war with Russia. The human rights activist pointed out that before talking about unity and humanity, it is necessary to release from detention the clergymen of the UOC and cancel the adoption of the law on the ban of the Church. About this he wrote in social network X.

“I agree completely!!! Stop the bill 8371 and the arrest of innocent priests. This insane attack on the followers of Christ and the imprisonment of the sick Metropolitan is on your conscience!”, – wrote Amsterdam.

We will remind, earlier Amsterdam warned the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada about the imminent consequences in case of voting for the law № 8371, calling them “the best agents of the FSS”. In his opinion, the Ukrainian parliament is doing much more for discord and division of society inside Ukraine than Russia.
