The Primate of the Jerusalem Church strongly condemned the verdict against Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchin and Bratslav. It is reported by Mospat.ru.

In a letter to Patriarch Kirill, His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine noted that he read the message of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church “with great sorrow”, which again reports on what is happening in Ukraine and, in particular, on the conviction of Metropolitan Tulchins and Bratslavsky Jonathan.

The Patriarch of Jerusalem stressed that “we strongly condemn” this sentence.

“Continuing to offer prayers and prayers to the Almighty Holy God, we fervently pray before the All-Holy and Life-Giving Sepulcher of our Lord Jesus Christ, so that the Grace of the Most Holy Spirit strengthens the Most Reverend Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchin and Bratslav and all the persecuted, enlightens the persecutors to repentance and the cessation of any alien action,” – says in a response letter from His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilus.
