In Kirovograd region unknown persons set fire to the house church of the UOC religious community

On April 27, 2024, unknown persons set fire to the house church of the religious community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Korobchino in Kirovohrad region. Believers of the UOC have arranged this premise instead of the local Holy Dormition temple seized in October 2022 by representatives of the PCU. About it reported on Facebook-page of Kirovograd diocese.

“Temporary refuge of the persecuted community became a rural house, arranged by the efforts of the faithful for the performance of services. But someone decided that even in such limited conditions Orthodox believers do not have the right to pray. This is how someone congratulated with Easter Orthodox Christians in the village Korobchino!”, – said in the message of Kirovograd diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Note, earlier Vladimir-Volyn diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church reported about the illegal entry and arson of two buildings of the monastery complex in honor of the Nativity of John the Baptist in the village of Verbka in Volyn region.
