Pope says his words about Russian youth are ‘wrongly worded’

On his way back from Mongolia, Pope Francis explained to reporters that his recent comments about Russia were “wrongly worded.” He said he wanted to remind young Russians of the great cultural heritage, not the political one. About this writes Reuters.

Recall that during an online meeting with Russian Catholics, Pope Francis called on Russian youth to remember the “greatness of their state and never forget about the heritage.”

These words caused a great resonance and outrage in society.
