On June 29, 2023, near the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, an unknown person attacked human rights activist Victoria Kokhanovskaya. The video of the incident was published by the First Cossack Telegram channel.

The attacker splashed Victoria’s eyes with a can of an unknown substance. As a result, the victim received chemical burns to both eyes.

The police arrested the perpetrator on the spot, all the circumstances are being investigated.
