The Lavra’s lawyer, Archpriest Nikita Chekman, said that the Security Service of Ukraine was conducting searches in Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. About it he wrote on his own Telegram-channel.

“Just reported that in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra arrived SSU officers in order to conduct a search”, – stated in the message.

We will remind, earlier we wrote that on February 7, 2024 the Northern economic court of appeal in Kiev gave consent to additional involvement of monks as third parties in the case on the removal of obstacles in the use of the Assumption Cathedral and Refectory Church, located in the Upper Lavra.
