Archbishop Nikita (Lulias) of Thyatira and Great Britain announced that the Thyatira Archdiocese of the Church of Constantinople is in the process of founding additional Ukrainian Orthodox parishes throughout the United Kingdom.

Father Myroslav Pushkaruk, cleric of the Archdiocese, in addition to weekly services, also travels around the United Kingdom, offering spiritual, pastoral, material support to the Ukrainian Orthodox faithful.
“Each Ukrainian Orthodox parish will retain its identity, customs, language, calendar and traditions, while at the same time being part of the culturally diverse family of the Ecumenical Patriarchate,” the newspaper writes.
