The religious community of the UOC of the Sykhiv region of Lviv was transferred to the Lviv-Sokal diocese of the OCU. At the same time, the charter of the community was changed by the order of the head of the Lviv Regional Administration Maxim Kozytsky on July 6, 2022, Variants informed.
“To register changes to the charter of the religious organization “Religious Community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Sykhiv District of Lviv” (the charter and changes to the charter were registered by orders of the chairman of the Lviv Regional State Administration dated June 12, 2001 No. 617 and dated December 15, 2008 No. 1482), setting out the charter in the new edition as the charter of the religious organization “Religious community of the Lviv-Sokal diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Orthodox Church of Ukraine) of the parish of St. Volodymyr in the Sykhov district of Lviv,” the order says.
Earlier it was reported that on June 19, 2022, a temple of the UOC, which is terrorized by vandals, was set on fire in Lviv.
