Pilgrims are warned of tougher rules for interregional travel

On October 21, 2021, new rules for passenger traffic in regions with an established “yellow”, “orange” or “red” level of epidemiological safety will come into force in Ukraine. The Pilgrimage Center of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church warns about this, Pravlife reports.

According to the new rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, in areas with a wide spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19, interregional passenger transportation will be allowed, provided that all drivers, air crew and passengers (except for children under 18) have one of the following documents:

a document confirming the receipt of a full course of vaccination or a document confirming the receipt of one dose of a two-dose vaccine for regions of the “yellow” level of epidemic danger;

an international, domestic certificate or foreign certificate that confirms vaccination against COVID-19 with one dose of a single-dose vaccine or two doses of a two-dose vaccine approved by WHO for use in emergency situations, a negative PCR test result or a person’s recovery from a specified disease, the effect of which is confirmed by The Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services, in particular with the use of the Diya mobile application;

a negative test result for COVID-19 by PCR or a rapid test for the determination of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus antigen (valid for 72 hours).

The new rules apply to both regular and non-scheduled passenger traffic. They operate on road transport on bus routes, air and rail transport of interregional communication.

The corresponding rules will not apply to urban and intraregional transportation.

The carrier is responsible for the availability of these documents for all drivers, aircraft crew members and passengers.
