Ukrainian Catholic bishops criticized forced vaccination

Ukrainian Catholic bishops of the Latin rite have criticized the restrictions being taken in the fight against COVID-19. It was, in particular, about the compulsion to vaccinate, writes Sedmitsa.

Thus, Bishop Bronislav Bernatsky, in a commentary for Radio Maria, emphasized “the immorality of the fact that the government deprives people of the opportunity to earn a living.” He also noted that “the situation that we are witnessing today may drag on for a long time.”

“We cannot force anyone to be vaccinated! This is a voluntary procedure! No one should be fired from work, deprived of the opportunity to earn their own food, to feed their families. Otherwise, what will she live on? This strain has not yet disappeared, a new one has already appeared! So they will appear endlessly, and there will be no end to it! ”Bishop Bernatsky said.

Bishop-emerit Marian Buchek commented on the state of affairs in Ukraine in a similar way. He condemned the intentions of the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko, to interfere in religious life by restricting access to services for unvaccinated people.
