The former press secretary of the head of the UOC-KP, Filaret Denysenko, and now a well-known lobbyist of the OCU in the mass media, Andriy Kovalyov, has accused the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of disrupting deliveries of Western weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Kovalyov is convinced that due to attempts to inform the West about the persecution of the Church by the Ukrainian government, the USA and the EU are changing their attitude towards the Ukrainian government. About this he said in a commentary “TSN”.

“To the Moscow patriarchate should be treated exclusively as a quasi-religious organization and as a hybrid weapon of the Kremlin. This is Putin’s last hope in Ukraine. They have hired American lawyers and propagandists with money from the pro-Russian oligarch Vadym Novinskyy, who are spreading fake information in Western countries that Ukraine is allegedly banning a religion in order to influence, in particular, the decision of governments to provide Ukraine with weapons”, – Kovalyov said.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Andriy Kovalyov has made odious statements about the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Recently, he complained about the fact that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has not yet been banned in Ukraine. He is convinced that the UOC is the only organization in the country with “the most collaborators”.
