In Odessa, an attacker set fire to a refectory on the territory of the UOC church

On February 27, 2024, on the territory of the temple of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Archangel Michael and Saint Luke of Odessa, there was a fire in the refectory. According to the data from the surveillance cameras determined that there was arson. This was told by a parishioner of the temple Varvara Borovets, reports UOJ.

“The most terrible thing that could happen in this situation is the reason why there was a fire. It was deliberately set fire to our refectory. It’s all there on the cameras. It’s not wiring. It’s not an incoming flight. Specially a man set fire”, – told a parishioner of the temple.

It is worth noting that the described case of arson of immovable property of the UOC congregations, is not the first. Earlier we reported that on January 3, 2024 in the village of Chernyavka, Vinnitsa region, Oratovka district of the Tulchyn diocese of the UOC unknown vandals set fire to the chapel.
