Epiphany urged to pray for “final liberation” of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

On February 2, 2024, the head of the PCU Epiphany Dumenko led a “worship service” in the Assumption Cathedral of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. This is reported by the website of the OCU.

During the “sermon” Epiphanius urged those present to ask in prayer “that the Most Holy Mother of God, Pechersk Abbess, helped to complete the work that we started a year ago – helped to finally free this sacred monastery from the yoke of the wicked “Russian world”, so that the inheritance of Her again glorified as a place of piety, feats and mercy.”

Recall, as we previously reported, the Director General of the National Reserve “Kiev-Pechersk Lavra” Maxim Ostapenko said that, “unfortunately, not many Ukrainians go to services in the Lavra, but every month they are becoming more and more”.
