The leading Ukrainian media have launched an information campaign against a sign language interpreter who participated in the work on the translation of the National selection for the Eurovision 2024 song contest. The interpreter is accused of adherence to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which was learned from her social networks.
It is reported that after the National selection, the network raised questions to one of the translators – Olga Bunaziv. In particular, she was suspected of being a believer of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The corresponding conclusions were made based on her personal page in Instagram.
“So, this is Olga Bunaziv. She loves the Russians, quotes the head of the Moscow Patriarchate, compares Epiphanius yourself know who…. One of the two interpreters of the Eurovision sign language “drowns” for the Moscow Patriarchate and posts this kind of crap, such as: “the driver was stopped and for disposal in Bakhmut”, – wrote users.
We will remind, in December 2023, a year passed after the publication of the scandalous issue of “Bayraktar News”, in which the presenters Koshevoy Eugene and Pikalov Alexander allowed themselves statements that offend the religious feelings not only of the believers of the UOC, but in general all believers. Only a few months after the Legal Department of the UOC filed an application to the police on the fact of these statements a pre-trial investigation was opened. However, as of today, absolutely nothing is known about the results of the investigative actions, nor about their actual existence.
