On January 30 and 31, the International Religious Freedom Summit is taking place in Washington, DC. About it writes First Kazatskyy.
It is noted that among the speakers announced from Ukraine are the chairman of the SSRF, Viktor Yelenskyy, and the Verkhovna Rada ombudsman for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets.
Thus, the summit on freedom of conscience should be addressed by an official who deals with the persecution of Christians in Ukraine and an ombudsman who never “notices” these persecutions. According to the report, this is the same as “calling the chairman of the Council for Religious Affairs under the USSR Cabinet of Ministers to talk about religious freedom.”
“IRFSummit is being used as a platform by Viktor Yelensky to attract support for 8371, his, hate-filled, law aimed at banning all religion,” commented human rights platform Save the UOC.
