MP: The issue of banning the UOC did not cause a split in the Verkhovna Rada

An MP of the Servant of the People political party and deputy head of the parliamentary faction of the same name, Olena Shulyak, has said that the issue of banning religious organizations “associated with the Russian Orthodox Church” has not caused a split in the Verkhovna Rada. About it writes Ukrinform.

“I think it is quite realistic to pass this bill. I do not see any split in this issue”, – said Shulyak.

She added that “I have not received any calls, incorrect information or threats. It seems to me that this is a far-fetched story about a split and problems in the Verkhovna Rada”.
