At an extraordinary session on August 21, 2023 Volochysk city council of Khmelnytsky region decided to prohibit pilgrims going on a procession to Pochaev to enter the territory of settlements of Volochysk territorial community. This was reported by the press service of the mayor’s office.

The deputies also recommended the local police department “to take measures to prevent the procession on the territory of the Volochysk municipal community”.
