According to the chairman of the Synodal Information and Education Department of the UOC Metropolitan Kliment, the Primate and the head of the UOC are prohibited access to the territory of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

“The National Reserve has created some lists on which law enforcers allow access to the territory of the Lavra. These lists include only clergymen with the rank of monks. They did not include seminarians and other novices of the monastery, who now cannot go outside the territory of the Lavra, because they will not be allowed back in. Also, access to the territory of the Lavra is forbidden to the UOC’s Primate Metropolitan Onufry and the UOC’s business manager Metropolitan Anthony,” Metropolitan Kliment said.
