On August 17, 2023, on the day of the ninth anniversary of the enthronement of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Archbishop Stefan of Ohrid and Macedonia sent a congratulation to His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kyiv and All Ukraine. This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.

“Rejoice and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven!”, with these words the Primate of the Macedonian Church began his congratulations.

“Your Beatitude, on the day that marks 9 years since your election to the throne of the Kiev Metropolitans, allow me personally and on behalf of the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – the Ohrid Archdiocese to congratulate you on this holiday, wishing you God’s help in every good case,” the statement said.

His Beatitude Archbishop Stefan of Ohrid and Macedonia wished the Primate of the UOC many more years to serve the Church of Christ.

“Continuing the deeds of your blessed predecessors, with the prayers of the saints of the Caves and all the saints of God, we sincerely wish that the mercy of God will endow you with strength and wisdom so that you serve the Church of Christ for many more years,” His Beatitude said.
