On July 27, 2023, MP Petro Poroshenko stated in the Verkhovna Rada that he expected decisions from the OCU to withdraw from Moscow. He posted the corresponding video on his own Facebook page.

Poroshenko urged to celebrate Christmas and Easter according to the “European” calendar.

“We expect the local council of the OCU to make a decision on another step from Moscow, on the celebration of Christmas and Easter according to the traditional European calendar,” the people’s deputy said.

What kind of “traditional European” calendar Poroshenko was talking about is unknown.
