The lawyer of the vicar of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra visited Metropolitan Pavel in the pre-trial detention center and said that the bishop is in the building where suspects are kept under articles investigated by the SSU.

“He is given handovers in order to provide everything necessary for his stay in the pre-trial detention center. Conditions with the content are absolutely civilized,” he said.

Also the lawyer conveyed to the lord that there is a collection of funds for bail.

“He is very grateful to everyone and sends God’s blessing,” – said the lawyer.

It is known that on July 14, Solomensky district court of Kiev changed the measure of restraint for Metropolitan Pavel to detention, with the possibility of bail in the amount of 33 million hryvnia.
