Serbia drew attention to the letter of the Ukrainian bishop to Blinken

In Serbia, they drew attention to the letter of Metropolitan Luka of Zaporozhye to the head of the State Department, Anthony Blinken. This is reported by Pravblog.

The relevant publications are posted on the websites of the Belgrade newspaper Pravda, the church resource Pouke, the official website of the Zvornitsko-Tuzla diocese of the SOC and the radio of the Belgrade-Karlovatsk archdiocese Word of Love.

“At the same time, it is interesting that Ukrainian church resources stubbornly ignore the appeal of the UOC hierarch,” the report says.

Recall that we wrote earlier that Metropolitan Luka of Zaporozhye addressed the head of the US State Department with the words that “ignoring the problem of violations of the fundamental rights of believers of the UOC calls into question the true commitment of the American authorities and the US Democratic Party to the idea of protecting the rights and freedoms of a persecuted person or social group.”
