On June 23, 2023, a meeting of the Rivne Regional Council was held, at which it was decided to terminate the lease agreement with the community of the UOC Amfilohiy Pochaevsky, which is located at the Rivne Regional Hospital. Archpriest Vasily Nachev announced this on his Facebook page.

As the priest noted, this decision is political, because “there was and is no legal reason for terminating the contract.”

“People’s representatives of the Rivne region certainly want sick people undergoing treatment in the Rivne Regional Hospital to pray outside in the heat and cold! Leave the sick prayers and the right to practice their religion on the sickbed!”, – stressed the archpriest.

Also in the message, the priest added that the rector of the temple, Father Oleg Kochubey, was not given the opportunity to speak at the speech in order to convey the petition of the parishioners.
