Jan Taksyur I was “ordered” by forces close to the OCU

On May 25, 2023, Ukrainian publicist and church writer Jan Taksyur was exchanged for Ukrainian prisoners of war. This is reported by the Telegram channel Pravblog.

“The publicist was released as part of an exchange of prisoners of war, which was organized by PMC Wagner. Prigozhin hinted that in order to release Taksyur, “a lot” of Ukrainian soldiers had to be exchanged,” the report says.

The exchange took place the day after the Shevchenkovsky Court of Kyiv sentenced the writer to 12 years in prison under the article “high treason”.

The publicist himself stated that he was “ordered” by forces close to the OCU.

“The texts are a pretext. In fact, I was “ordered” by precisely those forces that are connected with the OCU. They ordered me. I have a lot to say about this, I have been broadcasting “The Right to Faith” for 5 years. And for I was arrested,” Taksyur said.
