Deputy of the Poltava City Council Yulia Gorodchanina on espreso.tv said that in Poltava there is a problem with transitions to the OCU. According to her, there are 28 churches of the UOC in Poltava and only 7 of the OCU.
“Now the trouble with the transitions. More such negotiation processes continue, the Metropolitan of Poltava and Kremenchug OCU Fedor is actively involved,” said Gorodchanina.
“The transition process is complex. We are also considering options for officially depriving these churches of either premises or land plots. In fact, there is a lot of work. Russian influence is significant here,” the deputy added.
She added that people independently and consciously choose the Ukrainian church.
