The non-factional People’s Deputy Artem Dmytruk spoke out against the beating of the Bishop of Ivano-Frankivsk and Kolomyia of the UOC Nikita and against the persecution of the UOC in general. He wrote about this on his own Telegram channel.

“I consider the act on the part of the person who committed the beating of the priest to be immoral, wild and unworthy of a person!”

He also sent his deputy appeals to the relevant authorities “regarding this and other cases of violence against priests and other crimes motivated by religious persecution!”, the report says.
