MP Artem Dmytruk has met with lawyer Robert Amsterdam, who is defending the interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. About it the MP reported on his own Telegram-channel.

“There was a meeting with the American human rights activist Robert Amsterdam. The meeting raised various legal issues and cases of their systemic violation. The position of the American society remains unchanged: the rights of citizens, choice of religion, language of communication and freedom of speech are fundamental values for the entire democratic community”, – wrote Artem Dmytruk.

He added that American politicians want to see in Ukraine compliance with the basic values of the civilizational world.

“It’s nice to talk to people who understand you and are ready to give you a shoulder”, – said the MP.
