Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov said that the authorities would not use force to evict the clergy of the UOC from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. He said this on the air of the telethon, according to the Telegram channel Klymenko Time.

“This is not an eviction, this is not a hotel. This is the property of our state, which must be released, according to the legal documents that exist. If someone believes that he does not have the right to comply with the laws of our country, then he is deeply mistaken, ”said Danilov.

He added that “if someone believes that he should stay there for a certain period of time, then we will not allow any provocations that the Russian FSS wants to arrange on the territory of the Lavra today. We will not carry them by the legs, we will not use any force. They will slowly leave on their own.”
