In Zgurovka, Kyiv region, deputies did not support the appeal to the believers of the UOC on the transition to the OCU

In Zgurovka, Kyiv region, the deputies did not support the appeal of the Svoboda party to the believers of the UOC to join the OCU. This was announced by the deputy from the Svoboda party Yevhen Chubuk on his Facebook page.

The deputies voted three times to submit the draft appeal for consideration by the session, but all attempts were unsuccessful.

“Today I suggested that the deputies consider the Appeal to the Believers of the Moscow Church (UOC-MP) of Zgurovshchina. At first, 13 deputies voted to submit it for consideration by the session, but for some reason they changed their minds and decided to drastically change their minds. In the second vote, there were already 7 votes in favor. During the third voting: “for” – 6, “against” – 5, “abstained” – 10, “did not vote” – 1,” Chubuk wrote.

In an appeal prepared by the Svoboda party, demands were put forward to boycott the UOC and not to visit its churches, as well as to demand that the “clean clergy” of the Church transfer to the OCU.
