With the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church transferred assistance to large families affected by a series of earthquakes in Turkey, the Information and Education Department of the UOC reports.

For families who lost their homes as a result of the terrible tragedy, 50 temporary premises were purchased for comfortable living.

Aid was delivered to the victims in Turkey’s southern province of Hatay.
