Archpriest Alexander Bakhov, head of the Legal Department of the UOC, said that the “95th quarter” plot not only offends the feelings of believers, but also creates preconditions for a civil conflict, since it “marks the priests of the UOC as enemies of the people.” He spoke about this at a press conference of the UOC on December 15, 2022.

Father Alexander recalled that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has been engaged in charitable activities since the first days of the war and helps both the victims of hostilities and the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, plots like the scandalous plot of the 95th quarter “violate the internal unity of the state, which is very important during the war,” the clergyman noted.
