Does the OCU concelebrate with Roman Catholics?

On the feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, October 14, 2022, “Archbishop of Ternopil and Kremenets” Nestor paid a visit to the Podvolochisk “Deanery”. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Ternopil “eparchy” of the OCU.

On this day, the community of the OCU in the village of Medin celebrated the temple feast and the 160th anniversary of the temple in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.

“At the invitation of the rector of the temple, the bishop celebrated the Divine Liturgy there,” the message says.

In addition to “Archpriest” Andrei Gusak, “Dean Archpriest Taras Makhnitsky and invited clergy served with the bishop,” the publication notes.

In the photo from the “holiday service”, a minister of the Roman Catholic Church was seen, who took a direct part in the “worship service”. Despite the presence of this person in an Orthodox church, nothing is said about him in the press release.
