On October 6, 2022, a meeting of the thirty-first regular session of the Talnovsky City Council of the VIII convocation was held. It is reported by Ukrinform.

At this meeting, the deputies of the Talnovskaya territorial community of the Cherkasy region appealed to the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada with a demand to ban the activities of the UOC. The draft decision was presented to those present by the deputy of the local council Anna Dragun.

The decision also refers to an appeal to the residents of the community with a call to «refrain from visiting» the UOC, and to religious communities with a call to «hold meetings in order to stop the activities» of the UOC.
