Metropolitan Luka of Zaporozhye and Melitopol urged to obey God and live according to His commandments, and at the same time noted that, unfortunately, despite the horrors of the war, people do not rush to churches and become victims of propaganda of malice and hatred. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

«We are not His advisers. He Himself will figure everything out. It is better to obey God and live according to His commandments. When He spoke to people in the language of love and bestowed upon them His bountiful gifts, human hearts remained deaf.

Now He is shouting into their ears with sorrows and shocks in the hope that human souls will wake up from their sinful hibernation and at least live the rest of their lives in prayer and repentance», – the hierarch wrote.

He added that, unfortunately, most people, despite all the horrors of war, do not rush to churches, do not change their lives and do not even think of repenting, but on the contrary, they become victims of propaganda of malice and hatred.
