The head of the UOC-KP Filaret Denisenko congratulated the sisterhood of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Philadelphia (United States of America) on the 90th anniversary of its foundation. This was reported on Filaret’s Facebook page.

“Your, God-blessed, work takes place within the Vicariate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate in the USA and Canada and is manifested in sacrificial service to people.

I greet the head of the sisterhood in honor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, Mrs. Barbara Latios and all the women who work tirelessly for the glory of God, on the 90th anniversary of your sisterhood. May the grace of God always fill you with unchanging joy from serving people, give peace and inspiration,” the head of the UOC-KP said in his congratulations to his structure abroad.

As previously reported, Filaret moved the center of his vicariate in the United States and Canada to Philadelphia.
