The visit of Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine continues to bear its “black” fruits. More and more often from different regions of the country there is information about the seizure of churches or the illegal re-registration of the statutes of the communities of the canonical Church in the jurisdiction of the “OCU”, writes Pravblog.

This time, the “black registrars” were marked by the violation of the law in the Volyn region.

Officials at the Volyn Regional State Administration again worked out the raider scheme of the tomos times, re-registering the Holy Dormition community of the UOC in the village of Naviz into the “OCU”, and thus opening the doors to the next seizure of the temple of the canonical Church.

“As it became known, at the beginning of May this year, representatives of the UOC held a community meeting (in accordance with the current legislation). The supporters of the “OCU” then did not find the necessary two-thirds of the votes, and the results of the meeting were entered into the minutes, which were later notarized and handed over to the specialists of the specialized department of the Volyn Regional State Administration. The latter, in turn, assured the representatives of the UOC that all relevant appeals and protocols would be taken into account. However, later, the same officials recommended that the OCU supporters hold an alternative meeting without inviting members of the UOC community to it. Then, relying precisely on the minutes of the meeting of schismatics and without even informing the rector of the church, the actual signer of the legal entity, about their intentions, the gentlemen from the Department of Religious and Ethnic Affairs formed a package of documents for re-registering this community in favor of the OCU. Interestingly, the priest who heads the Holy Dormition community of the UOC in the village of Naviz learned about the post factum re-registration via the Internet, ”writes the Telegram channel.

This illegal activity was attended by the head of the Department of Religious and Ethnic Affairs at the Volyn Regional State Administration Olga Chubara and her deputy Vasily Gaiduk.

The rector and community of the Holy Dormition Church of the UOC in the village of Naviz are preparing to seize the building.
