The UOC religious community in Gilcha has arranged a room for worship services

After the raider seizure of the St. Nicholas Church in the village of Gilcha by supporters of the OCU, the UOC believers prayed in the open air. However, one of the parishioners gave her house to the religious community. After careful arrangement, the first liturgy was celebrated there. About it reports the site of the Rivne diocese of the UOC.

As reported in the press service of the diocese, pani Maria, who handed over her house, all her life passed to the church, now she is already at the age of 90 years.

“Maria is cared for by her family, but the house Czech, kind she gave our religious community for use. The parishioners worked for a few days, put the house in order, arranged it as much as possible for the convenience of conducting services. Everyone is sincerely thankful,” commented Archimandrite German (Kulakevich), rector of St. Nicholas parish of the UOC in the village of Gilcha.

Many believers came to the first Liturgy in the new church.
