Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemns Pope’s address to young Russian Catholics

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry speaker Oleh Nikolenko has called the Pope’s address to young Russian Catholics “imperialist propaganda”. He writes about this in Facebook.

He emphasized that “it is precisely such imperialist propaganda, “spiritual staples” and the “need” to save “great Mother Russia” that the Kremlin justifies the murder of thousands of Ukrainians and Ukrainian women and the destruction of hundreds of Ukrainian towns and villages.”

In Nikolenko’s opinion, “the reason for Russia’s chronic aggressiveness is Russian great-power ideas,” which were expressed by the Pope.
