July 14, 2023 Solomensky district court of Kiev satisfied the petition of prosecutors to change the measure of restraint to the vicar of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Metropolitan of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl Pavel from round-the-clock house arrest to detention. This is reported by the Information and educational Department of the UOC.

Also the judge agreed on the amount of bail as an alternative to detention in the amount of 33 million hryvnia.

Recall that recently the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court refused the prosecutor’s request to increase the amount of bail to 13 million UAH to the Chairman of the Ternopil regional Council Michael Holovko, who is accused of taking a large-scale bribe, and left the amount of bail in the amount of 805.2 thousand hryvnia.

Brothers and believers came to support Metropolitan Pavel, who prayed under the walls of the court all day long.

The bailiffs took the vicar of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra out of the courtroom and took him to the cell of the pre-trial detention center.
