Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal instructed to organize the procedure for checking the Assumption Cathedral, Zimnensky and Nyzkinitsky monasteries of the UOC in Volyn. This was reported to Volynskie Novosti by People’s Deputy Igor Guz.

It is noted that the verification process was instructed to organize the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Minister of Justice of Ukraine, the Minister for the Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Chairman of the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, the head of the State Property Fund and the Chairman of the Volyn Regional Military Administration.

“I am waiting for answers regarding the verification of lease / use agreements and the formation of a commission to inspect these places of worship for the further transfer of movable and immovable state property to the balance sheet and under the protection of the relevant government agencies,” the people’s deputy said.
