The adoption of draft law No. 8371 on the activities of religious organizations in Ukraine will help the state to quickly obtain the right to manage the Lower Lavra. This was stated by Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko on the air of the United News telethon, Ukrinform reports.

“We hope that the Verkhovna Rada will start considering the bill, which was filed by the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, regarding religious organizations whose center is located on the territory of the aggressor country,” Tkachenko said.

He added that “this would significantly help us in the transition to the state of the Lower Lavra.”
