According to the press service of the Odessa diocese of the UOC, at the Assumption Monastery in Odessa, the necessary conditions have been created for temporary shelter and physical and spiritual support for people who were evacuated from settlements flooded as a result of the Russian military undermining the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.

Already on June 7, the first victims were received and assistance was provided to them. These people were brought to Odessa by volunteers of the “Help” charity foundation.
