Metropolitan Ephraim of Berdyansk and Primorsk banned 4 priests from serving. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Shepherd & Flock”.

We are talking about the secretary of the Berdyansk diocese, Archpriest Sergiy Ilyushchenko, Archimandrite Dimitri (Mikheshkin), Archpriest Evgeniy Klimenko and Archpriest Dimitri Lebedchenko.

The reason for the ban is “a gross violation of the priestly oath, the 39th Canon of the Holy Apostles and the 57th Canon of the Council of Laodicea.”
