Four clerics banned in Moldova for avoiding schism

Four clerics of the Criulian-Dubossary deanery in Moldavia were banned due to evading schism. They went to the “Bessarabian Metropolis”. This is reported by the website traditia.md.

They argued their transition with the “excessive fees” that the metropolitanate takes from them. In addition, they complain that some priests in the MOC support Russia.

Another source reports that after this ban on priests, an information campaign was launched against the Moldovan Orthodox Church. In the local media, which are already focused on the promotion of “Western values”, they began to accuse the Moldovan Church of infringing on the priests.
