On May 18, 2023, in connection with the work of the Ministry of Culture, the Near caves of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra will be closed from 9:30 to 11:00, and the Far ones from 10:30 to 12:00, the press service of the monastery reports.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, Viktor Yelensky, said that in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, one work of the commission of the Ministry of Culture is not enough and the authorities planned the reconstruction of the caves.
