In the city of Varash, Rivne region, a vote was held, at which the issue of the transfer of the Transfiguration Cathedral of the UOC to the OCU was resolved, Rayon.Varash reports.

1,015 people registered to participate in the meeting, which took place on April 5, – Varash Mayor Alexander Menzul informs.

1002 participants of the meeting voted for the change of subordination, three abstained.

Also, the participants of the meeting decided:

approve the charter of the religious community in a new edition,

terminate the powers of the parish council of the religious community, which was elected and acted before the change of subordination in canonical and organizational matters,

choose the composition of the revision commission of the religious community,

register the charter of the religious community in a new edition and state registration of changes in the information about the religious community contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individuals – Entrepreneurs and Public Formations.
