“Instead of peace, the head of the Phanar brought an even deeper church division to Ukraine. Because of his “fatherly care,” our churches are being seized, and his “spiritual children” from the “OCU” are beating and humiliating Orthodox believers,” said Metropolitan Luke.

The bishop believes that it would be necessary to discuss the Ukrainian church issue together and make the right decision, but Bartholomew, “using the “divide and rule” method, inflicted a serious wound on the catholicity of the Church.”

“His actions are aimed at the destruction of the true Orthodox Church and the creation of a “simulacrum” of world Orthodoxy, which could be led to unity with Catholicism,” Metropolitan Luke emphasized.
