Speaking at a press conference in Belgrade, the priest of the Serbian Church noted that the state terror against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will not stop because there are no international institutions that would be truly interested in guaranteeing and protecting the religious and other rights of the UOC.

“Unfortunately, in all of this, not just an accomplice but an instigator is the religious structure that throughout its history has relied on political power in the empire,” Archpriest Darko Jogo said.

He added that, “unfortunately, we are faced with a situation where the Local Orthodox Church has made legitimate a schismatic organization at a time when this organization is carrying out aggression against the canonical Church.”
